Editorial Standards

MassagePH maintains strict editorial independence. This page documents our policies, last reviewed April 2026.

No Pay-to-Play

MassagePH does not accept payment, gifts, complimentary services, or any form of compensation in exchange for rankings, positive coverage, or inclusion in recommendation lists. All listings are evaluated on the same criteria regardless of whether a business has a paid listing tier or not.

Anonymous Evaluations

All clinic evaluations are conducted anonymously. Editors visit as ordinary customers, pay full market price, and do not identify themselves as MassagePH reviewers. Clinics that become aware of evaluation visits and attempt to influence scores are noted and flagged in their profiles.

Quarterly Re-Evaluation

Rankings and profiles are re-evaluated every quarter. No establishment holds a permanent position. Rankings are based on current performance — past excellence does not protect an establishment from re-scoring. Significant service deterioration can result in immediate ranking adjustments outside the quarterly cycle.

Conflict of Interest Statement

MassagePH editorial team members are prohibited from holding financial interests in any establishment covered by MassagePH. Any potential conflict of interest must be disclosed in writing to the editorial director before any coverage is produced. Editors with disclosed conflicts may not produce coverage for the affected establishment.

Correction Policy

Factual errors reported through our contact form are investigated and corrected within 5 business days if confirmed. Material corrections are noted in the affected content. We do not accept removal requests from establishments based on negative but accurate coverage.

Advertising Separation

Advertising and listings revenue is completely separated from editorial operations. Advertising clients do not receive editorial coverage as part of their advertising packages. The editorial team has no knowledge of or access to advertiser commercial arrangements.
